Donald Trump, the presidential candidate representing the Republican Party tweeted an angry tweet, after the attack on the Republican Party headquarters in Hillsborough, North Carolina. In the tweet, Trump refers to the vandalizers as ‘animals’, and he also accused that the individuals belong to Hilary Clinton and Democrats who support the Democratic Party.
Trump also pointed out that the cause behind the attack was because the Republican Party is ‘wining’. The firebombing attack was followed by graffiti acts accusing the Republican Party of being Nazis. The state governor called the attack ‘an attack on our democracy’ whereas Hilary Clinton also took it to Twitter to condemn it, saying “The attack on the Orange County HQ@NCGOP office is horrific and unacceptable. Very grateful that everyone is safe.”
Trump was more aggressive, his tweet read "Animals representing Hillary Clinton and Dems in North Carolina just firebombed our office in Orange County because we are winning @NCGOP." Neither sides have given an official comment as yet as to what they have concluded about the attack. At the same time, there is no hard evidence to prove that the individual or individuals behind the attack on the Republican Party are Clinton supporters.
Asides this, Trump mentions the attack was carried out because he was winning, according to the latest presidential polls and report, Clinton has an 11-points lead over Trump, which was 4-points earlier, before the second presidential debate took place. The damage to Trump’s campaign happened because of the multiple sexual cases that surfaced after an old video of Trump was leaked. In the video Trump talks about groping women without consent and uses inappropriate words for them.
Many reacted to this incident in several ways, one of the reactions Trump received was by Famed James Beard award-winning chef Jose Andres. James is currently in a legal dispute with Republican Party nominee, Trump, after backing out of a restaurant project in one of his hotels. The tweet read, “You are a looser [sic] for claiming something that is untrue!...who are you? Look yourself at the mirror tonight!"
The North Carolina GOP replied to Clinton’s tweet: "Thank you for your thoughts & prayers, Sec. @HillaryClinton." The nominee later emitted a milder effort: "ALL SAFE IN ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. With you all the way, will never forget. Now we have to win. Proud of you all!@NCGOP."
The tweet once again stirred up a new controversy for Trump, as he used the term ‘animals’ to refer to the individuals behind this, which took a negative impact across the internet.
